    WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?

    Certifications and what they mean:

    CrossFit Level I: I can train you in the CrossFit fundamentals and get you in the best shape of your life.  Olympic lifts, high intensity workouts that take half the time of other workouts but are far more effective, gymnastics, rowing, running, we do all that.

    CrossFit Nutrition: I can help you lose weight and address performance issues via Paleo and Zone tenets and show you how to eat for performance (and look better naked!)

    CrossFit Endurance: I can improve your cycling, running and swimming using CrossFit and CrossFit Endurance training and techniques.  Do you want to drop MILES and HOURS off your training while setting PRs in your events?  I can help you do that.  Want to learn to run more efficiently?  I can teach you that.

    CrossFit Barbell: I can make you strong.  It's all about neuromuscular/muscle recruitment patterns, lots of muscle groups working in concert, your posterior chain and getting work done.  The barbell is the most ergonomically efficient way to work with weight.  If you can deadlift 400lbs, fireman carrying your buddy off the battlefield will be easier.  If you can clean 200lbs, you'll be able to jump higher.  Crazy how that works eh?  If you can press (shoulder press) 100 lbs getting that box of Tide onto the top shelf will be cake.

    Bottom Line Up Front: What's it going to cost me?

    1. $0-->Your initial workout is free. Contact me and we'll schedule a one and a half to 2 hour block to go over some biomechanics and safety and we'll do a fairly intense workout based upon your current activity level and athletic experience.
    2. CrossFit Ramp Up--> $150 covers 3 classes that will teach you to move correctly in the 9 fundamental movements.  You will be given take-home workouts to conduct on your own for a week before the next session.  Each class will cover 3 movements and incorporate a hard workout. Optional for anyone who can provide performance-based proof of CF Basics training at another CF facility.
    3. CFNFC drop-ins--> The schedule of availability will be posted on the calendar page.  If a time is posted, I will be there.  $20 drop in fee (only available after CrossFit Ramp Up or if you've gone through a similar program elsewhere.  You will either have to show proof or test out of the 9 fundamental movements)- covers instruction, workout and use of equipment/facility. Remember, each session is a training session, we don't just let you move incorrectly or use too much weight.  You're coached each and every time you step in a CrossFit establishment (if you aren't then you need to change affiliates!)
    4. CFNFC "membership"--> The pricing will are based upon how many times you come per month.  15% discounts will be given to LE, MIL, Fire/EMS, HS or Collegiate athletes, College and Graduate Students, Delayed Entry Program, Servicemembers and ROTC cadets.  Below are the basic rates.

    • CrossFit Ramp Up: $150 3 WOD/Instruction Sessions, 3 weeks worth of take-home workouts;
    • Month to Month- 1 WOD a week at CFNFC with take home workouts, $100

    • 10 visit Punch Card for folks frequently in/out of town (only available after Ramp Up or similar program elsewhere) $200
    •
    1. Specialty Seminars: Want to work on endurance in conjunction with CrossFit?  Hitting workouts pretty hard but not getting better and want to dial in nutrition?  Want to focus mainly on getting strong not necessarily on METCONs?  We can do that.  There will be scheduled seminars on the calendar.  They will run $50 for non-CFNFC members, $35 for members.   Each specialty seminar will last 2 hours and will include a workout.

    Why Pay for Something that's Free on the Internet?

    Excellent question. CrossFit workouts and videos are absolutely free at www.crossfit.com, as well as CFNFC's workout plans here at CrossFit North Fort Collins . I repeat, these are free to view on the internets.

    What CrossFit North Fort Collins provides you with is experience, equipment and an environment free of distractions in order to get your max performance. No grunting choads watching themselves in the mirror or bugging you during your workout, no machines that focus on the third head of your triceps, no spandex-wearing old man sweating it out on an elliptical. Just you (sometimes plural, but a small plural), me, some music for motivation and pure, unadulterated fitness. We strive to keep things changing so you don't get into a rut. We'll challenge you to do things you never thought possible. We'll work you until you want to pass out within 15 minutes. And we'll coach, teach and mentor you every step of the way. The bottom line here is that you will never work out as hard or challenge yourself as much if you're working out alone or with folks not doing the same thing as you. If you're doing your 100 burpee workout at home, only a few folks will actually finish it when working out by themselves, because it sucks. You do it here and your reps are counted, and they better be good reps or they won't count. We hold you accountable and that's 90% of the success of any program (think Biggest Loser)
